dennisberkley02Lake Fork, Texas holds 15 of the top 20 Texas State Record Largemouth Bass.  It is comprised of 27,690 surface acres, situated in Wood and Rains County in Northeast Texas conveniently located between Sulphur Springs and Tyler, Texas.   A 5 bass per day limit can be kept, consisting of 5 fish under 16 inches or 1 over 24 inches, and 4 under 16 inches.

The limit on crappie on Lake Fork is 25 per person per day with a 2 day possession limit. Crappie must be over 10 inches to be legal except during November, December and Januray.  During these months, all crappie must be kept. This is because when crappie are caught from deep water their bladder ruptures and they can not return.

In the spring and fall, trips need to be confirmed as early as possible. Lake Fork is a very busy lake during these two periods and we {as do the lodges} will book up quickly. Our full day will start at first safe light, break at lunch, and return to the water till about 4:00. Later if the fish are biting!!!!! A $100.00 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the day of fishing.  Should circumstances arise where you won't be able to make the trip on the day(s) you have scheduled, you may change the confirmed date(s) and the deposit will be applied to the new scheduled date(s).  We are happy to book bass, crappie, or catfish trips for you on Lake Fork.  We can supply all the equipment you will need through our fine sponsors.
